CoA of Lithuania

Can you explain how anything in the chapter Coat_of_arms_of_Lithuania#In_the_Lithuanian_Army is in any way relevant to the topic of the article, which is coat of arms of Lithuania? That's basically one-sided history of Belarusian troops in Lithuanian service with some occassional anti-Polish slander? Marcelus (talk) 11:09, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

The usage of the Coat of arms of Lithuania is relevant to that article, and those Belarusian units indeed used it. In addition, factual historical descriptions are not slander (the definition of slander according to Cambridge Dictionary is this: a false spoken statement about someone that damages their reputation, or the making of such a statement). The whole chapter is off-topic; it didn't say anything related to the main topic, except that Belarusian unit used Belarusian CoA (duh) Marcelus (talk) 12:25, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
It is very related to the main topic. And it is not the "Belarusian CoA", it is the Coat of arms of Lithuania. Perhaps you thought it didn't say anything related to the main topic because you were thinking of a different article. Cukrakalnis (talk) 12:39, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
It's certainly not related to Coat of Arms of Lithuania; and this chapter is about coat of arms of Belarus which is Pahonia Marcelus (talk) 12:43, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
In Coat_of_arms_of_Lithuania#In_the_Lithuanian_Army, when writing about the Belarusian unit, the Lithuanian coat of arms is mentioned directly. Cukrakalnis (talk) 13:24, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
And that's literally the only relevant information Marcelus (talk) 14:51, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

Trial

Can you kindly restore my edit that you just reverted? My edit didn't contain only removal of the second name of the trial. Also the name doesn't appear in English language sources Marcelus (talk) 20:54, 23 August 2022 (UTC)

After some consideration, I will restore your edits. Furthermore, I am doing so because calling the trials "Little Nuremberg trial" in the wp:lede based on only one source seems out-of-place. Also, after searching in various places for "Little Nuremberg trial" in the English language, the results are about different things, which happened in the post-war and elsewhere. Regardless of me restoring your edits, the rationale of removing something because it does not figure in English sources is not how Misplaced Pages treats non-English sources and information within them.
