Your bot at Misplaced Pages:Community portal/Opentask

Hello, Atyndall. Is your bot working these days? Is hasn't made any edits at Opentask the last few days. I have to manually remove redlinks from the Stubs line three times already. Can your bot detect redlinks (apart from Article Requests) and replace them, please? Thanks. --PFHLai (talk) 04:35, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

My bot is currently working but I am experiencing problems with cron and server downtime. I am going to try and remedy these problems soon. Until then, feel free to manually edit the opentasks list as you please. Happy editing! —Atyndall 05:04, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Having trouble with cron? Have a Corona and take it easy. Problems will be gone soon, I hope. In the meantime, I'll see what I can do with the Opentasks. Cheers! --PFHLai (talk) 05:01, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

Bates method again

Hi Atyndall. There are a number of recent issues on the Bates method talk page on which your thoughts could be helpful. I have been doing my best to improve the article, but Ronz still seems to think it is deeply flawed.

On a side note, I noticed a recent addition to WP:TALK regarding editing section headers which makes a lot of sense, and would have been very helpful had it been there at the time of the medcab case you mediated. That doesn't seem to be an issue now, though. PSWG1920 (talk) 04:18, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

I'll have a look at it soon. —Atyndall 04:21, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Hmmm. Well, I can give my opinion, but its looking like a very complex issue. —Atyndall 04:51, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Which issue are you referring to? Ronz's claim that NPOV and OR are being ignored? Or his list of "poor sources"? Or Seeyou's suggestion to rename the article? Or something else? PSWG1920 (talk) 05:10, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Well just for now, I am writing up a response to Talk:Bates method#NPOV and OR are being ignored and I may have a look at some of the other issues at a later time. Reading and responding to heated debates is very draining. —Atyndall 05:38, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, but don't feel obligated. I think we are perhaps making some headway, but it's clear that Ronz and probably now QuackGuru believe that the article is very deeply flawed, so this seems unlikely to just go away. If possible I'd like to avoid a huge edit war, which could get the article locked or tight restrictions placed on editing it, as I have noticed has happened at the Quackwatch article. PSWG1920 (talk) 05:47, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
I have posted my replies to Ronz' comments. —Atyndall 06:06, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. It seems like you and I do generally agree here. We'll see what happens. PSWG1920 (talk) 06:15, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks!

Very much the work of L'Aquatique, she rocks! Isn't it lovely? Clean, colourful, and organised! Wohoo! I love yours too, but I've already told you that I think hehe.

Cheers,
