IP still blocked
Hello Berean Hunter. I have been unblocked. However, I am still unable to edit pages with the exception of my talk page. I receive the red message "You are currently unable to edit Misplaced Pages" as I try to edit some pages. I think this is due to the IP, which is probably still blocked after I logged in with the other accounts in order to delete the associated email address. Can this be fixed?--Aethelwolf Emsworth (talk) 09:03, 25 July 2019 (UTC)
- Because you signed into your blocked puppet accounts, you triggered an autoblock. If you stay out of those accounts, you shouldn't have that problem. The autoblock should have cleared and you should be able to edit now.

Nice to see you back
Hello, Aethelwolf Emsworth. I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to speak up for you at the community unblock request, but I didn't know it had been opened up. I'm not as active as I used to be, but I am around. Take care... and don't let yourself be overly riled by other contributors. I know it can be difficult to back down sometimes, but it does end up backfiring. Again, it's good to see that you've deservedly been given another chance. - Thank you, Iryna Harpy! I hope you have recovered well from your illness!--Aethelwolf Emsworth (talk) 14:16, 26 July 2019 (UTC)
- My thanks for your good wishes. Again, I'm sorry that I wasn't up to being more involved during the earlier critical period, nor with the unblock request. I haven't actually made a full recovery, so I'm sticking to simpler tasks like fixing citations, basic gnoming, and trying to stay away from controversial material in as much as possible, but if you run into problems do let me know and I'll do my best to assist you (even if it is only as someone to air your grievances to). Iryna Harpy (talk) 01:25, 27 July 2019 (UTC)
- Thank you again! You're very kind.--Aethelwolf Emsworth (talk) 20:50, 27 July 2019 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Religion in Russia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Christian (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Why are you saying I’m banned when I’m not?
I’m not banned. Solidarityandfreedom (talk) 22:39, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
- I apologise. I read hastily the following tag in your contribution page:
01:45, 21 January 2022 Cullen328 talk contribs blocked Solidarityandfreedom talk contribs from the page American Solidarity Party with an expiration time of indefinite (Using Misplaced Pages for promotion or advertising purposes: Disruptive editing, misleading edit summaries, extreme over-reliance on primary sources, POV pushing)
. I didn't catch immediately that you have been blocked indefinitely on one page only, I thought on the entire Misplaced Pages.--Æo (talk) 23:10, 5 March 2022 (UTC)

Hello, Æo
Thank you for creating Shendao.
User:Scope creep, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
Nice article. You need a trans tag in the talk page for attribution. Also can you translate the references into English. They are virtually useless to the majority of people reading this.

I really like your articles
You might find some of my interactions a bit critical, but I really like your articles and images. Thank you for them. Would you be interested in helping edit some of the articles I have made? Immanuelle 💗 (please tag me) 18:16, 1 August 2022 (UTC)
- Dear Immanuelle, with all due respect, based on your contributions I guess you are a very young and inexperienced editor. As you have already been recommended on your talk page by other users, please refrain from creating articles through machine translation and copy-pasting, even more so if you have no knowledge of the topic or cultural sphere you are dealing with.
- I see, for instance, that in the last month you have created many articles pertaining to Chinese religion; some are reduntant both in title and content, such as "miao shrine" and "ci shrine" — saying "miao shrine" and "ci shrine" is like saying "temple/shrine shrine" or "shrine shrine", and the content of both should be treated in "Chinese temple architecture" (maybe under its original title, "Chinese temple"). The translation of Chinese characters can be highly problematic, and it is better to avoid it by keeping the pinyin transcription to avoid confusion and bad translations. Other articles you have created, such as "Jongmyo (shrine)" and "Tenno taitei", use the Korean and Japanese vocalisation and transcription of the characters, despite the topic is primarily Chinese.
- Apart from the mainspace articles, what is this draft in which you have used an altered version of a diagram of the Wufang Shangdi which I created years ago for Commons? Have you any source supporting the article you have been creating and the mythological associations it discusses or are you creating your own mythology? If the latter is true, I suggest you delete the draft and the invented diagram as soon as possible.
- I think many, if not all, of the articles you have created, which often treat very sensitive and complex topics, such as "Criticism of modern Paganism" and "Religious Confucianism", should be draftified or deleted forthwith. The best way to create Misplaced Pages articles (which in my opinion should be made mandatory, so as to avoid the disastrous articles Misplaced Pages has unfortunately been filled with) is, first of all, to collect a good number of reliable sources, possibly academic publications (i.e. university publications) about the topic; second, to read and understand them; and third, to build an article based on what the studied sources say, supporting each sentence with a citation of the source.--Æo (talk) 21:39, 15 August 2022 (UTC)
