- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Misplaced Pages article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>
, copy the whole thing). - In the Misplaced Pages article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References== {{Reflist}}What is a WikiProject, and how do I join one? A WikiProject is a group of editors that are interested in improving the coverage of certain topics on Misplaced Pages. Random language additions
Hi. Can you stop adding random translations of names of countries to countries? Thanks. (CC) Tbhotch 17:23, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
why? I don't see any problem with that. Živadinka58 (talk) 17:25, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
- Please stop immediately, and read WP:MOS. In the meanwhile, I will roll back all of your edits. Ymblanter (talk) 12:39, 24 April 2022 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Misplaced Pages's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Misplaced Pages's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Misplaced Pages, you may be blocked from editing. Stop with the WP:POV edits and making changes from Kosovo to Serbia. You are dangerously close to being blocked. Ad Orientem (talk) 18:50, 27 April 2022 (UTC)
