James Butler, 9th Earl of Ormond
Dear আরো ভালো স্নাইড, greetings. Thanks for your intervention on the article James Butler, 9th Earl of Ormond? How did you get there? Do you have an interest in Irish history?
I feel a biography should whenever possible start with the birth of the subject and end with their death. The first sentence should start with the name and say when and where the subject was born. That is why I reverted your:
The eldest son of Piers Butler, 8th Earl of Ormond and his wife Margaret FitzGerald, James was born about 1496 in Ireland.
to
James was born about 1496 in Ireland, the eldest son of Piers Butler, 8th Earl of Ormond and his wife Margaret FitzGerald.
I hope you would agree but are open to other ideas that you might have. Besides what is this interesting alphabet you are using in your name? Thanks and best regards, Johannes Schade (talk) 09:09, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
