- A request for comment seeking to alleviate pressures on the request an account (ACC) process proposes either raising the account creation limit for extended confirmed editors or granting the account creator permission on request to new ACC tool users.
- In a related matter, the account throttle has been restored to six creations per day as the mitigation activity completed.
- The scope of CSD criterion G8 has been tightened such that the only redirects that it now applies to are those which target non-existent pages.
- The scope of CSD criterion G14 has been expanded slightly to include orphan "Foo (disambiguation)" redirects that target pages that are not disambiguation pages or pages that perform a disambiguation-like function (such as set index articles or lists).
- A request for comment seeks to determine whether Misplaced Pages:Office actions should be a policy page or an information page.
- The Wikimedia Foundation's Community health initiative plans to design and build a new user reporting system to make it easier for people experiencing harassment and other forms of abuse to provide accurate information to the appropriate channel for action to be taken. Community feedback is invited.
- In February 2019, the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF) changed its office actions policy to include temporary and project-specific bans. The WMF exercised this new ability for the first time on the English Misplaced Pages on 10 June 2019 to temporarily ban and desysop Fram. This action has resulted in significant community discussion, a request for arbitration (permalink), and, either directly or indirectly, the resignations of numerous administrators and functionaries. The WMF Board of Trustees is aware of the situation, and discussions continue on a statement and a way forward. The Arbitration Committee has sent an open letter to the WMF Board.

Proposal
HEY THERE!!! How are you buddy? I feel better than ever despite my hair battle/war defeat. Anyway, sometime soon, should we create a draft of Oshwah userspace dedicated to silly talk page postings of his? We could work together and tackle the archives for silly things, and maybe even include your newspaper posting about the hair battle, as well as WikiProject Oshwah. Sound enticing to you? ;) DrewieStewie (talk) 10:45, 19 July 2019 (UTC)
- DrewieStewie, While I am sure that is a good idea and I love it, we should remember not to get too carried away from oshwah's hair thingamabob and remember that This is not Oshwahhairpedia and that Misplaced Pages is an encyclopedia, Maybe we should start a wiki like that. I do look forward to making more "hair warring stuff' but we should not take this too far otherwise we would possibly be blocked as as per not here. This is not a message meant to discourage you or anything at all, we can for sure do this on april fools day or even once in a while, but not too often. Thank You and Happy Editing! :-) (No hairwarring...) --Thegooduser Life Begins With a Smile :) 🍁 20:24, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
- Oshwahhairpedia! Lol. It will be a hassle to create a new wiki. You'll need to install mediawiki along with other software and web servers. You'll also need to buy a web domain and probably a hosting service too. Masum Reza 20:39, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
- Geez, Just get User:Oshwah or SQL to do it, Lol. Thegooduser Life Begins With a Smile :) 🍁 20:42, 20 July 2019 (UTC)

- Of course bro, I would never bring this to the point of a NOTHERE block. I always make sure to pull Oshwah ribs on the side of everything, every once in awhile not too often. Besides, this would be only userspace of his on his behalf, on the same level as wikipedia awards and similar to those who have a separate userspace for userboxes. Ill always focus on wikipedia responsibilities more, but this here is a side Wikilove project. I could make it in a few days, or I could wait some months or even wait until April Fools. Maybe itll be a public draft while I make it, I don't know. Point is, I'm more focused on PCR, AFD, Pro Wrestling Wikiproject, the fram situation (where I have proposed a major RFC), and other Misplaced Pages responsibilities, but this would mostly be a just for fun thing on the side to enhance the Misplaced Pages environment in a tumultous time for the encyclopedia. :) DrewieStewie (talk) 03:57, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
