Your user name
Hi, 윤리윤리윤리. Your name refers to "ethic, ethic, ethic" in Korean, so I'm wondering if you know Korean language. :) --Caspian blue 02:02, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm slowly learning. You can read the whole story here. I quit Misplaced Pages about one year ago but I promised myself not to give up. When I type ~~~~, that reminds me not to act unethical on Misplaced Pages anymore since I became upset and angry when people made senseless edits to articles I have worked very hard on. I am going to try and only edit articles that appeal to college educated editors so that I never feel like quitting again. Today I start my daily 2 hours of practicing Korean, and rejoin Misplaced Pages for good now; since, as of yesterday, I quit studentdoctor.net yesterday because they don't assume good faith and some people over there think I'm a liar. I've promised myself to put in about 10 hours this month into the Ludwig Wittgenstein article from the To-Do list on wikiproject:philosophy. I hope to become an asset to Misplaced Pages, without too much socializing on talk pages, and zero unethical behavior. I think if I keep my scope of articles extremely narrow, I won't run into any problems. I just hope that my narrow scope of articles doesn't look like a single purpose account. But, that's why I love wikipedia because of WP:AGF. Thank you for dropping by on my talk page, and if you know any good resources for learning Korean, feel free to share them. I have an extremely old, used edition of Rosetta Stone. 윤리윤리윤리 (talk) 22:31, 18 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you for the interesting and detailed answer, but I think you should've not posted the user's images and the content in your Email capture since your name is 윤리윤리윤리. :-) Anyway, I don't know anything about recommendable Korean lesson books, but if you have any question regarding Korean culture and language, feel free to contact me. I hope you enjoy editing Misplaced Pages. --Caspian blue 21:01, 19 July 2009 (UTC)
- Good point, I hope I can figure out a way to deal with stress ethically. Thanks so much for the kind offer about Korean culture/language advice. I really appreciate your generosity, since I have no Korean friends--just 2 penpals who have been tremendously encouraging and supportive! I will strive to be an ethical asset Misplaced Pages, will take you up on your offer to help prepare me for my future life where my heart is.--I have 9 years to prepare for my first impressions over there. 윤리윤리윤리 (talk) 01:15, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
