Uspen (Kazakh: Успен ауданы, Uspen audany) is a district of Pavlodar Region in northern Kazakhstan. The administrative center of the district is Uspenka. Many Kazakhstan Germans live in this area. Population: 12,837 (2013 estimate); 13,254 (2009 Census results); 21,395 (1999 Census results).
Geography
Lake Ulken Azhbolat, a briny endorheic lake, is located in the district. The Burla river flows into the eastern lakeshore. Lake Ulken Tobylzhan lies further south.
