School district in Oklahoma

The Vinita Public School system is a mix of five schools over the Vinita, Oklahoma area in Craig County, northeast of Tulsa.

It includes almost all of the Vinita city limits, excluding some portions of highway. Additionally, Big Cabin is in the district. Much of the district is in Craig County, and it extends into Mayes County.

The White Oak Public Schools school district sends high school grades to Vinita High School and has done so since fall 2010.

In 1992 residents the Big Cabin School District, which had voted to end its own operations in fall 1991, approved a referendum to join the Vinita school district.
