Yayvantepe (Syriac: ܩܪܛܡܝܢ, romanized: Qarṭmin, Kurdish: Qertmîn, Arabic: قرطمين) is a neighbourhood in the municipality and district of Midyat, Mardin Province in Turkey. The village is populated by Arabs and Kurds.
It had a population of 977 in 2022 and is located southwest of the Mor Gabriel Monastery.
Demographics
The two groups living in the village are Arabs and Kurds of which the Arabs are Seyids. Both groups speak Arabic.
