Zee Cohen-Sanchez is an American political strategist and entrepreneur, known as the founder and executive director of Sole Strategies, a woman owned and operated political consulting firm. Cohen-Sanchez specializes in grassroots campaigning, advocacy for marginalized communities, and supporting underrepresented candidates in local and state elections.
Early life and education
Sanchez graduated from Wagner College with a BA in Anthology and Sociology. Later she dropped out of Graduate School to work full-time in politics. She joined high-profile campaigns such as those of Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Career
In 2009 Cohen-Sanchez moved to New York City and worked on several races before moving to Oregon in 2018. In 2020, Cohen-Sanchez founded Sole Strategies. The organization emphasizes the importance of deep canvassing techniques to flip voters from red to blue, rather than traditional top-down consulting approaches. The firm has worked on over 500 campaigns since 2020.

Through Sole Strategies, she has built an all-female team of political operatives and supports initiatives to elevate voices traditionally excluded from the political arena.
