Stop making yourself the arbiter of what articles should or should not exist at Misplaced Pages. If someone goes through the trouble of creating some content for Misplaced Pages and working hard to research it and write an article about it, leave them alone and let the article develop of its own accord. You don't get to decide by yourself that what interests other people is not a valid thing to write about it. Repeatedly over the past so many days you have erased someone else's hard work and redirected it to another article which has far less information in it. If you genuinely think that an article does not meet Misplaced Pages's established standards, please use existing methods such as ] to open discussions on the matter. But you really need to stop making unilateral decisions which tell other people that their good work isn't welcome. Good work to expand Misplaced Pages is welcome, and your attempt to stop it is NOT welcome. Please let people who create content be. --]''''']''''' 23:23, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
:For reference and and are three examples from the past few weeks. It's getting tiresome that you keep doing this. Please stop. --]''''']''''' 23:28, 12 March 2014 (UTC)
::I agree with you. Since the examples referenced are of articles originally created by me, I wanted to point out that I, or any other editor, does not have to take the time to create an article. They don't have to research information, or take time to write full paragraphs of information immediately. For example, sometimes when I create an article I only have a short period of time to create it before I have to go somewhere or do something, so I just add the basic information first. Usually someone else will come to the article and add more information. Also, you claim that every attack does not need an article, implying that articles on attacks are created every day, which is not the case. You don't see new articles on all the bombings in Iraq every day, do you? The events which garner coverage in many news sources are usually worthy enough for a stand alone article. Lastly, these new articles being created are referenced compared to the many other Misplaced Pages articles with no references that you don't bother to nominate for deletion or redirect. ] (]) 01:43, 13 March 2014 (UTC) |

Egyptian Revolution of 2013
Partisan sources? → The New York Times FrontPage Mag Jadaliyya ChicagoNow DW The Guardian Der Spiegel Voice of America Financial Times Time World Al Monitor openDemocracy
Those "partisan sources" call this a revolution, while other sources call the coup d'état a coup d'état. You abandoned the discussion in Talk:2013 Egyptian coup d'état, but i remember you saying that it is "logically impossible" to have a revolution and a coup at the same time. Carnation Revolution, Saur Revolution, Revolución Libertadora, Brazilian Revolution of 1930, Young Turk Revolution and Egyptian Revolution of 1952 were all military coups.
Care to point out/discuss an example of POV in the article? I'll be glad to remove or change it but you can't just say there is a neutrality issue without starting a discussion about it. And i'm trying to improve the article so i would be grateful if you showed me an instance. Fitzcarmalan (talk) 21:08, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
- You can also help writing the "Coup d'état and aftermath" section of the article if you're interested. Fitzcarmalan (talk) 23:06, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
- It appears Lihaas that you like to neglect discussions and you also fail to specify where is this POV, but you seem to think it's easy to tag an article and leave the editors wondering what could possibly be wrong. If you don't participate in the discussion i will remove this tag because it appears you're the one who's POVishly and flagrantly opposing the word "revolution" without any good reason and with poor arguments. My talk page
For some bizarre reason, I have been having huge trouble loading wikipedia after dinner for the last few days, and because of that haven't been checking talk. I saw your comment, but at this point I don't remember what it refers to. Please don't think I was being intentionally rude--whatever it was we were disagreeing on I would have explained better if I could. μηδείς (talk) 21:38, 6 March 2014 (UTC)
Opinion polling for the Indian general election, 2014
Is it possible to merge this page with the existing Indian general election, 2014#Opinion polls section. I still don't think we should unnecessarily increase the number of pages, while we are discussing the same thing over different pages. Need some more opinion. Thanks. Logical1004 (talk) 06:51, 7 March 2014 (UTC)
- Agree Please move it and make sure that newcomers or ip people couldn't vandalize. Thanks--25 CENTS VICTORIOUS 16:40, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
- User:25 Cents FC User:Lihaas If we are agree on this, can you give your opinion on the page Talk:Opinion polling for the Indian general election, 2014#Necessity, where I have raised the same question there. Need more opinions, then we can proceed with the merge, if decided. And like User:25 Cents FC said, we can make the page semi-protected or protected as this event is a future related important event, and to ensure the neutrality, its necessary. Indian general election, 2014 is already a semi-protected page. Logical1004 (talk) 16:51, 10 March 2014 (UTC)
- Mobile user are attacking page day by day. They are swapping party's position without understanding the fact. What to do with that ? --25 CENTS VICTORIOUS 18:18, 10 March 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 11
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Central African Republic conflict under the Djotodia administration, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jorge Castaneda (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
