This category includes players from the second Washington Senators franchise, which was an American League expansion team in 1961. They moved to Arlington, Texas in 1972 and became the Texas Rangers.
They are not to be confused with the original Washington Senators franchise, which was in existence from 1901 to 1960. They moved to Bloomington, Minnesota in 1961 and became the Minnesota Twins.
