Ukrainian writers include Anna Akhmatova, Sholom Aleichem, Isaac Babel, Mikhail Bulgakov, Raya Dunayevskaya, Ivan Franko, Oles Honchar, Taras Shevchenko, Hryhori Skovoroda, Olena Teliha, Pavlo Tychyna, Lesya Ukrainka, and Mykola Zerov.
