Template:Infobox T-bane station
The old Bjørnsletta was a station on the Kolsås Line (line 6) between Åsjordet and Lysakerelven of the Oslo Metro. It is located in the Ullern borough. Along with Frøen, Bjørnsletta was one of only two stations on the subway network which lacks step-free access to the platform.. The station was opened on 15 June 1942 when the line from the Røa Line to Jar was completed. Along with most of the line, Åsjordet has been closed for upgrades since 1 July 2006 and is service is temporarily provided by bus line 43.. The area around Bjørnsletta is mainly residential. After the opening of the line after renovation, Bjørnsletta and Lysakerelven will be replaced by a new station, also to be named Bjørnsletta placed in the middle of them.
