The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08691. As of the 2010 United States Census, the population for the CDP was 3,041.

Robbinsville is the site of the Trenton-Robbinsville Airport, a privately-owned, public use airport. It is also home to the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA), an organization that establishes the rules and regulations governing high school athletics in New Jersey.
