As of May 2009, Madness have released nine studio albums. They have also released twelve compilation albums, three live albums and 37 singles (including one EP).
Included as separate entries in this discography are releases by four Madness "spin-off" bands: The Fink Brothers, The Madness, The Nutty Boys and Crunch!.

The Fink Brothers
The Fink Brothers were a short-lived alter ego created by Madness members Suggs and Chas Smash.

The Madness
The Madness was a short-lived spin-off group of Madness formed by Suggs, Chas Smash, Lee Thompson and Chris Foreman in 1988. While The Guinness Book of British Hit Singles and many on-line discographies consider this band to be the same as "Madness", the band themselves consider "The Madness" to be a separate and distinct project.

The Nutty Boys
The Nutty Boys were Lee Thompson and Chris Foreman of Madness. While the members of the band Madness were nicknamed "The Nutty Boys" as a whole, this section lists only the work released by Thompson and Foreman under "The Nutty Boys" name in the early 1990s.

Crunch!
Crunch! were also Lee Thompson and Chris Foreman. After the use of the name "The Nutty Boys" proved somewhat contentious with other members of Madness, they renamed themselves "Crunch!" after the title of The Nutty Boys' lone album.
