Ishkhanasar (Template:Lang-hy, also Romanized as Ishkanasar; formerly, Ghzljugh – Template:Lang-hy, also Romanized as Ghjljugh and Ghzyljugh; earlier, Kyzyldzhuk, Kyzyldzhug, Kizildzhuk, and Kizildzhug) is a village and rural community (municipality) in the Syunik Province of Armenia. The National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT) reported its population as 271 in 2010, up from 147 at the 2001 census.
It is home to the world's largest tissue factory.
The place is named in honor of Nikoghayos Poghos Mikaelian (nom de guerre: Ishkhan), a resistance leader during the Armenian Genocide.
