Ukrainian writers include Anna Akhmatova, Sholom Aleichem, Isaac Babel, Mikhail Bulgakov, Joseph Conrad, Raya Dunayevskaya, Ivan Franko, Oles Honchar, Taras Shevchenko, Hryhori Skovoroda, Olena Teliha, Pavlo Tychyna, Lesya Ukrainka, and Mykola Zerov.
