1, the pictures belong in the proper article (massacre in volyn) and 2, they are dubious at best and possibly propaganda. The pictures only serve to strengthen the biases already on the page that need to be fixed. As far as the text goes, it is uncited and clearly biased.--Львівске (talk) 00:27, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
I'm sorry but you've been grossly brainwashed. UPA's main actions were against oppressive polish terrorists as well as Soviets. If you deny that they fought the NKVD/Reds, why do the Reds hate them so much? The fact that they fought 3 front's is highly documented and I suggest you do your own research before babbling on about innocents being killed. Innocent's were killed from all sides by all sides, it's a byproduct of war.--Львівске (talk) 15:42, 12 July 2009 (UTC)

1RR at Ukrainian Insurgent Army
Hello Paweł5586. You have exceeded the 1RR restriction on this article. Please avoid all reverts for the rest of the day. I have warned User:Galassi also. 1RR is enforced regardless of the merits of the material being reverted, which I know is arguable. Try to get consensus on the talk page regarding this material. EdJohnston (talk) 14:27, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- On August 6 you made these two reverts: 1 2. Please undo your last change. EdJohnston (talk) 19:44, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
Cześć Paweł. I think you're relatively new to Misplaced Pages so you might not know exactly how the 1RR (or the 3RR for that matter) restriction works. The restriction is NOT that you can revert "wrong" edits by other editors as much as you like and can only revert "good" edits once. It means that (outside of obvious vandalism like profanity or graffiti) you cannot revert ANY edits by another editor more than once, no matter how wrong you think their edits are. If another editor makes obviously wrong edits to an article, you still cannot revert them - this is to prevent mutual reverting. In those cases you should go to the talk page and ask the editor why they are making obviously wrong edits to the article and have a discussion. If in fact, the other editor is making obviously wrong edits then this will become obvious in the discussion and then can be reverted by anyone (consensus). Pamietaj - editing Misplaced Pages takes patience. Otherwise, you're violating Wiki policy and can be reported, restricted or otherwise blocked.radek (talk) 22:38, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
- Hello Paweł5586. Since the 1RR restriction has been imposed, you've broken it twice. You did not respond to my request to undo your last revert. According to the usual practice you should be blocked. Please make a proposal for how you will start behaving better so that it will not be necessarily to temporarily block you from editing. For example, you could promise not to edit the article for a week. EdJohnston (talk) 01:57, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Please avoid both articles until Aug 14
Hello Paweł. Per a discussion on this page and at User_talk:EdJohnston#1RR, I understand you agreed to 'stay off the topic for a week.' That agreement was made at 06:34 UTC on 7 August, which means you should not be editing either the Massacres article or the UIA article until 06:34 on 14 August. No edits at all. The following two edits don't obey the restriction:
- an edit at the Massacres article, 08:17 on 10 August
- an edit at the UIA article, 09:00 on 9 August
Please live up to this voluntary restriction, or I may need to take action on this. I'll await your answer. EdJohnston (talk) 15:33, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

It would be very helpful if you would find sources for important dates in the history of Lwow, and add these sources as inline citations to the article. I expect that many of the best sources on the history of Lwow are written in Polish.--Toddy1 (talk) 22:16, 24 August 2009 (UTC)

--Lysy 17:45, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Chodaczkow Wielki
Czesc Pawel.
I can provide translation of this message, if it is requested). 14th SS Division
Can you stop removing tags from the article this is classed as vanadalism. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 07:28, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
As this is the English Wiki it should have English sources so they can be verivied --Jim Sweeney (talk) 07:31, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- Untrue, and you know it. sources in other languages are acceptable where an English equivalent is not available. Stop lying. Tymek (talk) 19:22, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
So why so many Ukrainian sources are in this subject? Ukrainian good, Polish unreliable? 4th ang 5th regiments were built from volunteers to SS-Galizien. They have same organisation as SS-Galizien, and were used by Germans to anti-Polish actions. After Brody battle 2 regiments joined SS-Galizien main units. This is not anti Polish / Ukranian its finding reliable sources from above you have proved the point these units were not part of the 14th SS Division until afterwards so how can the division be implicated in the massacre.--Jim Sweeney (talk) 07:54, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Grzegorz Motyka is reliable source, even to Ukrainians how can he be reliable when he talks about the 4th and 5th regiments when the division did not have a 4th or 5th regiment ? --Jim Sweeney (talk) 08:18, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
The source you keep citing does not confirm what you are adding to the article. see above --Jim Sweeney (talk) 10:31, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
There is a huge difference between a battalion and a regiment in the German Army and Waffen SS each Infantry regiment had two or more battalions the SS normally had three. So was it the 4th Battalion or the 4th Regiment ? The Germans identifird their battalions as:
- I Battalion/1st Regiment
- II Battalion/1st Regiment
- III Battalion/1st Regiment
- I Battalion/2nd Regiment
- II Battalion/2ns Regiment etc
There never was a 4th Regiment or battalion in the 14th SS Division. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 10:55, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- This is one more source, also from Polish IPN, third paragraph, Motyka wrote: Form the volunteers to SS-Galizien, Germans formed several regiments of SS police (numbers from 4 to 8). They joined to division at Spring 1944. Before that two of them 4 and 5, partcipated in anty guerilla actions.
It was massacres as well. This source is wrote by Boguslawa Marcinkowska prosecution counsel, she hasnt military knowledge, maybe for her battalion equals regiment. But Motyka wrote it clearly.
Thank you - you have proved my point in the above edit they were not part of the division. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 11:13, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- No one is disagreeing with you if Motyka is reliable then HIS statement that Germans formed several regiments of SS police (numbers from 4 to 8). They joined to division at Spring 1944. Before that two of them 4 and 5, partcipated in anty guerilla actions proves that they were not part of the division at the time. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 12:58, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- I have asked you once above to stop removing fact tags from this article. To do so without adding the required in line citations can be viewed as vandalism. Its no good pointing to a bibliography and says the sources are there. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 10:33, 3 September 2009 (UTC)
Palikrowy massacre
Do not delete refimprove tags from articles without adding sutable in line citations this is classed as vandalism. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 11:49, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- The same goes for the Pidkamin massacre article. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 11:52, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
- If you do not stop removing citation tags and the ref improve banner from the ] article further action will have to be taken. If you are unable to find refs yourself leave the article alone. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 09:07, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
Stop your vandalism, number of pages were added, sources are reliable, there is no need to add anything.--Paweł5586 (talk) 09:11, 11 September 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry that does not work as you can see by checking the article I have replaced the tags where required. Just because you do not like it does not change the fact that citations etc are required. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 09:13, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Yet more edit-warring on articles about Polish-Ukrainian conflicts
Hello Pawel. I see on the above talk page that I've warned you three times about violating 1RR restrictions regarding Polish-Ukrainian conflicts during WWII. On October 26 you yet again broke the 1RR at Ukrainian Insurgent Army by making three reverts. Since the problem has continued for many months, it would be reasonable to block you for two weeks. In lieu of that, I will accept an agreement by you to *not* edit either Ukrainian Insurgent Army, Massacres of Poles in Volhynia or any articles concerning Polish-Ukrainian conflicts for three months. Let me know your answer. EdJohnston (talk) 01:01, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
