As of 16 May 2010 Arthur has aired a total of 185 episodes at the end of season 15. The series began airing on September 2, 1996, and premiered season 15 on October 10, 2011. Seasons 1–8 were produced by Cinar, and the company was succeeded by the Cookie Jar Group, starting with season 9.
