Disambiguation link notification for May 11

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Misplaced Pages appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Temperance Hall, Tennessee, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Temperance (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Sorry for the late reply, but see this. Good luck fixing it up and hope to see it a GA one day again though :) YE 20:45, 11 May 2013 (UTC)

List of United States tornadoes from January to February 2012‎

I'm not sure what is so hard to understand. There is no strong consensus for either TAM's proposal or yours regarding whether there should be a lede or a season summary section. Therefore, the article is to remain the way it was prior to either proposal. You don't get to choose yours just because. And by the way, it's not vandalism, and I'm well aware of the 3RR rule. TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk) 23:46, 12 May 2013 (UTC)

Have you even checked my revisions before reverting them. I made it clear in my edit summary that I reverted PRIOR to your revision OR TAM's revision. Meaning there is no summary section and the lede is still one sentence. Not sure what the problem is here. TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk) 02:05, 13 May 2013 (UTC)
No problem, everybody makes mistakes. Just glad it's solved. TropicalAnalystwx13 (talk) 02:09, 13 May 2013 (UTC)

Heads up

I know you're new to updating hurricane season articles. First, we can't add the next date just because it's "coming". We also have to include the (TD), (TS), etc on the timeline because of WP:ACCESSABILITY concerns. It has been discussed with the administrators there, within the project, and with WP:FLC delegates (ACCESS is a big part of the FLC criteria). Happy hunting--err, tracking. Seasonal Forecasts

There are no Eastern Pacific Seasonal Forecasts out yet, the NOAA Eastern Pacific one will be released some time next week along with the Atlantic and Central Pacific ones.Jason Rees (talk) 00:51, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

2013 Bangladesh tornado

I merged the content of the article into the main 2013 article since it creates an unnecessary content fork. The information easily fits within the main article and causes no issues. As a stand-alone, it's essentially a useless stub that's further away from the average reader's eye - people are less inclined to keep following links to get info. Tornadoes of 2013

I don't want to start up an edit war so I'm avoiding reverting again. If you're going to refer back to older tornado year articles please pay note to the quality of them. The further back you go, the worse they get. Formats change over the years as better ways of representing the information are put together. The addition of so many unnecessary headings makes the article more difficult to navigate for the average reader. It ends up creating excessive whitespace when the information can easily be put into a single paragraph at the start summarizing the information. There's no need for one sentence sections, and it's best to avoid those. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 23:30, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

It's all good. That's what discussions are meant for. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 23:55, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

Why exactly has nobody updated the beginning of Tornadoes of 2013 since Saturday? Do you know anything why? Leave it on my talk page.— Preceding unsigned comment added by ManhattanSandyFurystorm (talkcontribs) 23:59, 20 May 2013 (UTC)

Edit reversion

Hello. I made an edit on the May 18–20, 2013 tornado outbreak article page, but I saw that you reverted it. I thought that moving the link to the front of the row would be better in terms of formatting and information access, but I'd like to hear your opinion as to why you reverted my edit. In the future, please make an effort to explain your reverts, as they're quite helpful as feedback. Thanks. Prayerfortheworld (talk) 00:58, 21 May 2013 (UTC)

Pointless edit war on 2013 Moore tornado

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at 2013 Moore tornado shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Titoxd 02:18, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
