Altendorf railway station is a railway station in the Swiss canton of Schwyz and municipality of Altendorf. The station is located on the Lake Zurich left-bank railway line, owned by the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB).
Layout and connections
Altendorf has two 321-metre (1,053 ft) side platforms with two tracks (Nos. 1–2). PostAuto Schweiz operates bus services from the station to Ziegelbrücke, Siebnen, and Pfäffikon.
Services
As of the December 2022 timetable change, the following services stop at Altendorf:
- Zürich S-Bahn:
- S2: half-hourly service between Zürich Airport and Ziegelbrücke; on weekends some trains continue to Unterterzen.
- S8: individual trains in the late night and early morning to Ziegelbrücke and Winterthur.
