Chaumes-en-Retz (French pronunciation: [ʃom ɑ̃ ʁɛ] , literally Chaumes in Retz; Breton: Kalaved-Raez) is a commune in the department of Loire-Atlantique in western France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2016 by merger of the former communes of Arthon-en-Retz and Chéméré.
