The Chiang Ching-kuo Memorial Song (蔣經國紀念歌) was an ode written shortly after Republic of China President Chiang Ching-kuo died in 1988. At 8:00 p.m. on January 20, 1988, the Ministry of National Defense invited composer Xie Junyi to compose the "Chiang Ching-kuo Memorial Song", after which it was handed over to China Television to be arranged by the director of the CTS band, Zhan Senxiong, and it was performed at 10:00 that night.
