Line 22 of the Shanghai Metro, formerly named Chongming line (Chinese: 崇明线; pinyin: Chóngmíng xiàn) is a rapid transit line on the Shanghai Metro that is part of the 2018–2023 Shanghai Metro plan. The Chongming line was previously treated as the last phase of Line 9, and was Line 19 until 2016, when it was renamed the Chongming line. It would then be renamed as Line 22 in September 2024.

The phase I construction is expected to be opened at the end of 2025. The phase I start at Jinji Road in Pudong and end at Changxing Island in Chongming District, is 22.4 kilometers long, all of which are underground, with 5 stations and 1 vehicle base.
