Induszalim (meaning "Indus cruel one") is an extinct genus of mesoeucrocodylian reptile from the Vitakri Formation of Balochistan, Pakistan. The type, and only species, I. bala, was named and described in 2006.
Discovery and naming
The holotype consists of a rostrum, two caudal vertebrae, a left tibia, a left fibula, left ulna, left humerus, partial left femur, and ilium which was discovered in the Alam 19 locality of the Vitakri Formation of Pakistan in 2005. The species Induszalim bala was named and described by Malkani (2006).
A rostrum discovered around 2001 was referred to the theropod dinosaur "Vitakridrinda sulaimani" by Malkani (2006), but it was later referred to Induszalim by Malkani (2015a).
Classification
Malkani (2015) referred Induszalim to Mesoeucrocodylia.
